well, they are about 5-6 months old and they live in a 30 gallon aquarium. however, there is a glass that divides the aquarium in 2 so they dont fight and kill each other...

I have seven dwarf hamsters in five separate cages. What I've found when they're not drinking is that the water bottle isn't dispensing properly. Click the ball on the end a few times to see if it's dispensing. I'll bet that it's not. Hamsters constantly stay thirsty even with the water in their treats. If you can, get a non-tipping bowl from the pet store and give them some water in that. Or just try to get the water bottle working. I have found that if you take it out, tip it up and down a few times then put it back in, it'll coat the ball and start working again.

no, keep the water bottle in the tank! just because you don't see them drinking it doesn't mean they aren't! If they can't reach it, just put a little bowl in the cage, but they need water!! Also how old are they? Are they in a cage together? My 2 hamsters stayed together for about 6 months and all the sudden they started fighting,, I found out that hamsters no NOT like sharing their space. They like to live alone once they get older. If their together,, please seperate them!! Take my word,, A friend of mine woke up one morning and both of them were dead! They fought until they killed each other! She was soooo upset. Alot of pet stores don't tell you that when you buy them! Anyways Always give them water!! ;)

Maybe by you supplying them with foods that are high with water, that they may not have the urge to drink much. Also, do you give them fresh water everyday? You should cut back on the cucumbers and apples, maybe to one slice a day, so that they will start back drinking water. They can't live on just the water from the food. Also, maybe they do not like the water bottle. Try using a water dish.

whilst i replaced into youthful I had hamsters too so apparently like she is pregnant. pass to the puppy shop and get her some nesting kit and shop her in a separate cage. male hamsters are unpredictable and could injury the toddlers. So pass get her a separate cage on my own. it is in basic terms a small one with quite some nesting so she would have the capacity to take a seat back. It would not pick a wheel because of the fact all she desires is meals, water and to be left on my own from the different hamster.

you cant give hamsters that amount of fresh food daily it will cause diaria and stomach problems
give more driend food from your pet store. i have 9 dwarfs so i should no (7 are babies) dwarfs dont need a lot of water due to thier size. they will drink from the bottle when dry food is supllied too. fresh foods have to be given in small amount about 2 times a week
