Can anyone out there help? I have just been given a very large (90'' x 30'' x 50'') carved wooden hallstand with 2x adult bears + cub climbing a tree, at the base is a silver tray.
I would like to do some research on it, but without knowing its correct name I cant find it on the internet.
If anyone can tell me anthing about it or provide links I will be very grateful

It may be quite valuable so I would not consider selling it on
E-Bay. You could research a little on the site if you wanted to but I would recommend the following sites for info. and pricing.They should be able to help you further but as previously mentioned, get good photos of your piece.

Hey Jayne,
Goldilocks and the Three Bears? This type of intricate work usually has a makers mark somewhere. Under neath on the horizontal surfaces, look close. It could be carved, burned, stamped, or even a label. This information is key! Or post a picture on Flikr and post the link here.
