I have noticed that girls (no matter what the age) have a samll sacr that starts from underneath the belly button and runs all the way down. What is this for? It is really faint so you may not have noticed it, but have a look!

I don't have it, but I know what you're talking about. I think its more prevalent when the girl is slim, but her belly is on the "pouchy" side - when it slighty sticks out a bit with chub. My cousin's does that.
It might have to do with the fact that the same line appears there and gets darker when you're pregnant. I had a darker line there during and after my pregnancy - because you'r skin expands and stretches.

i know what you are talking about. When I was pregnant with my sons it got alot darker to where everyone could see it. Now noone really notices it unless you look close.
I too am eager to see what kind of replys you get. I have always noticed and knew about this line but never knew what it was for.

Hormones cause pigment changes and turn the line a dark shade. It is called linea nigra ("the black line") during and after pregnancy.

I think that what you might be referring to are stretch marks. Not to worry, guys have these also.
