I used to have Windows ME on this pc and I had 256mb of memory but now I have windows 2000 pro on it. I was told ME could only utilize the 256mb but I have one axpansion slot left where I can add some more memory and I wanted to know if Windows 2000 Pro would gain anything from the extra memory.
Also, is there any such thing as an expansion slot adapter to where you can add two memory sticks in one slot? Just curious about that one. they make adapters for everything else it seems.

Windows is 2000 is fantastic because it's no different then xp only better because it doesn't have those childish 3rd party software programs! It's a very clean windows operating system! If my old Pentium 2 processor can handle it with 96MB of ram i think any computer can handle it!

for maximum results use the tips given at the following website below to install computer for maximum results especially since windows 2000 starts setup the same way as XP
