Wikipedia's summary of Order of the Phoenix seems pretty accurate. You might be reading the movie summary, but even that has a very similar story to the book. Probably, you're not reading the real Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The only different versions of the book are:

Audio/Paperback/Hardcover
US/UK/Other Languages
Adult's/Children
Special Edition

But other than that, the story is exactly the same from book to book.

There's not exactly two versions, but there have been slight differences between the US and the UK versions, but very minimal changes, like dialogue and such.

I don't own any copies of the UK version, but I heard that in Sorcerer Stone/Philosopher Stone, the phrase "Sherbert lemon" was changed to "Lemon drop" for the american version, to go along with our terminology. And mugglenet.com mentioned a slight difference in Order of the Phoenix where somebody's dialogue was extended by an added sentence in the US version.

But when it comes to plot and everything else, they're both the same. like 99.999999999999999999999% the same.

I believe there's a US version and a UK version, mostly to deal with the different colloquialisms that the two countries have. But both have the same plotline.

Wikipedia is not the most reliable source due to the fact anyone can edit it. It may be someone has played a prank on the wiki.

I don't think there are two versions other than being in different languages. If there were different versions then they would keep the same basic idea. Did you even read enough of the book to tell?
