The former Vice President is playing very coy. If you caught his exchange with Leo DiCaprio on the Oscars, you have an idea of the fan dance he's doing about running or not running. My best guess is this: since the elections are almost 2 years off, Mr. Gore is going to ride his wave of popularity as a private citizen and Oscar winner until the rest of the candidates all shoot themselves in their respective feet. Then he will announce or allow himself to be drafted when the field narrows or proves none of the announced candidates can muster a sufficient plurality of electoral votes to take the nomination.

Would that be the Tin Woodsman Al Gore or Al Gore the Inventor of everything in the last 150 years?

Not that I have picked up on and I check news daily.
It is probably better , because the green house gas build up is huge and the steps necessary to reverse it are not likely to be done.
The flat earth people are already "shooting the messenger" ,
If he were president, they would blame him for not reversing it even tho they obstructed action for decades. Some people think if you tell them about a problem , then you are responsible for fixing it.
The flat earth people are lame and I personally do not want to subject Gore to any more of that nonsense.

Al is having fun playing with us. He has no intention of running again. It's really too bad when you think about it. He beat George Bush as kind of a wonky, boring, subspecies of the left. Now that he's gaining some entertainment based clout he leaves a lot of us scratching our heads saying, "hey... where was this guy in Y2K?"

Al's not running. Too bad. He's the only guy I've ever voted for who won.

Actually, he did announce his candidacy. He did so on the Internet, which he again took credit for inventing. He felt this was a better option, since his charisma is about on par with a wet newspaper. He stated his announcement had to be short, because every second he spent typing depleted the ozone and contributed to the melting of the polar ice caps.

One can only hope...Everyone else has a "PLAN" Gore has solutions! But no, no evidence, except his "jokes" about running.

Change his mind? He intends to run. Evidence? He's showing up everywhere after a long (much appreciated by me) absence.

Oh, I thought you were going to ask whether he would go on the South Beach Diet, or stop being a hypocrite about pollution, taxes, the poor, etc.

But, to answer your question --- I don't think that even he is that stupid.

No, he will not run. Why should he? The Bush family pulled the rug out from under him when he did actually win the presidency.
