no..it is not necessary..he can have eye color of his mother too. It all depends on the dominating gene.

one blue and one brown can have any colour eyed baby

no, not unless you both have the same eye colour in which case it is very likely that the baby will have that eye colour but not 100 percent likely. So if this is the case then I guess you could say that he has his fathers eyes, but he does also have his mothers eyes.

No it's all about genetics. Dominant traits and what not. All babies are born with slate blue eyes and they change around 9-13 months. I know one guy had brown eyes and his baby had greenish-blue eyes at 2 years old. They don't always have their fathers eyes color. Sorry

No. Both of our children have blue eyes whereas we both have brown eyes.I am told that blue is a strong recessive gene. My husband's father had blue eyes.
