First of all, you have to spell his name right, Mussolini, or no one will be able to find it on eBay.

There's someone on eBay this week trying to sell two photos of Mussolini being strung up. He's asking $45 bucks, but no one has made any bids yet. There are still three days to go on the auction, however, and a lot of people don't bid until the last few minutes.

Ebay is a good source of info on what certain items have brought in the [recent] past, however you have to sign up in order see the completed auctions.

There are also collector's guides available for original photos and documents (often called "ephemera"). You should check with your local library. If they don't have one they may be able to get a copy from another library via Interlibrary Loan.

Good luck!
