hmmm.... I'm not sure. I tend to shy away from eating things that are strange... Okay... now I remember. This is going to sound nasty so brace yourself. The strangest thing I ever started to eat was a piece of dead foot skin.. My boyfriend peeled a huge piece off his foot and we were eating chips and it looked like a chip and I accidentally stuck it in my mouth.. I immediately spit it back out once I realized that the texture wasn't just right. Ewwwww... I know, I know. Gross.

I did a Survival Class as part of boy scouts and I had rat for dinner one night. Surprisingly good in a stew, which is what I had. Found some edible mushrooms and roots to put in the stew. Best meal I had in a while that year. I felt like I earned it. I would do it again for sure.

Stinky tofu, pig intestines (the large ones), sea cucumber (read: slugs), frog soup (kinda tangy, that was), fried squid balls, baby octopuses (ate 'em whole), roasted pigeon, ostrich meat - the Asian gastronomic experience is a diverse one...

I'm not sure what it was exactly, it was about the size of a pea and it had wings.
I have since learned to keep my mouth shut when riding a motorcycle.
