Downlaod DiVx player it is free.

you probably need a codec. a codec lets you view the video by decoding the format it is encoded in.

the easy way is to try viewing it in a player that doesn't need those:
VLC - videolan.org
MPUI - mpui.sourceforge.net

if that isn't an option, then get this to identify the codec used:
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

and download the codec from here:
www.free-codecs.com/
but site seems like it's down so just do a search for the codec

you can try a codec pack, but sometimes they install more than you need or want.
