Both months are okay to go to Boracay.
It's not that crowded yet. The peak season will start from mid-november or early December. Then usually the wet season is around june to septemper but it depends. The weather is really unpredictable... sometimes, rainy & sometimes sunny.
Therefore, it might be a good idea to check the weather first before going.
Enjoy! (--,)

If you want to avoid the crowd, then both months will do. However, i advise you to pick September over October since the waves are bigger during the latter. Even if you are taking the plane going to Aklan, remember that you will need to ride a palm boat from Caticlan to Boracay.

I agree with the orthers, it ok to visit boracay during both months, if want to see great bodies, october and the summer months are your months. but if you prefer to avoid the rush, take the off months, like september.

both months are okay. the thing is, philippine weather is very unpredictable.. a few years back, some friends went there around the 2nd week of august and there was a storm! the sun wasn't really out much during their stay. we went there one october and alas, we likewise met a typhoon.. i think that was in 2003 during the semestral break! we thought we'll never leave the island. the waves were really high! except for the sun not being out, the trip was still a good one. pray hard that no storm will pass by during your stay.
but to answer your question, i suggest that you go there in september. october in the philippines is semestral break and it is likely that lots of students will spend their few days off there..
enjoy!

sept is the best time. it's still low season which means not a lot of tourist (only Koreans) and the hotels are cheaper at this time of the year. their high season starts from nov to june where it is very crowded and everything is expensive. we went there on sept and it was heaven coz not a lot of people and you can relax and enjoy the beach and absorb its beauty. another good thing is the boat rides are cheaper and you can haggle the price for they don't have a lot of customers. enjoy!

Why the ought to pass to Bohol or Boracay once you have equivalent or much greater desirable seashores there in Palawan like Coron. while you're uninterested in seashores then attempt mountain hiking like the Cordilleras or Sierra Madre Mountains.
