I live with my family and my dad has a very fast connection (3000kbps+) and that's on a laptop, and he gets that wherever he is in the house. But on my computer (a PC) the connection is only about 300kbps, and it's connected by the same wireless network thing. It's brand new so why doesn't it connect with the full speed?

cuz your computer may not be able to handle that speed or it may not have the same ip adress that your ip gave you so its not able to run on that speed..
