Philippines:
The significance of the colors, red, white, and blue, are currently attributed as follows: the white triangle stands for equality and fraternity; the blue for peace, truth and justice; and red for patriotism and valor.
The three stars represent the three geographical island groups of the country: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The eight rays of the sun represent the first eight provinces, Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Laguna, and Batangas, which revolted against Spanish rule.

"The colors of the pales (the vertical stripes) are those used in the flag of the United States of America; White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & velour, and Blue, the color of the Chief (the broad band above the stripes) signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice." "The star is a symbol of the heavens and the divine goal to which man has aspired from time immemorial; the stripe is symbolic of the rays of light emanating from the sun."

I'm not sure. It's a white background with a red cross. The cross of St. George. I don't know why it's those colours, I only know St. George is the patron St. of England.

it is made of a complex weave only seen up close... it is a faded grey-ish blue... with a creme white spiral in the center... held up on a T of bamboo and oak branches.
It represents change.
