Make plans for a Wednesday, after work. At least it will break the week up and give you something to look forward to

Maybe you feel that way to balance out the week?
Think about it: everything in this world balances out. At the end of the work week, let's say, Thursday or Friday, you become elated that the weekend is approaching. Friday and Saturday are probably spent relaxing, catching up on missed items during the week, and either the game or the bar scene. Sunday is probably used to reflect on the week and spend more time with family and friends.
During this weekend, your body creates less endorphins than the work week. The first effect of this is a sluggish feeling in your limbs. Normally, you feel drowsy, thus why you sleep in on Saturdays.
On Sunday and Monday, you still have less endorphins, therefore your dread of the work week. A good way to counteract this is to exercise on Saturday and Sunday. Start by jogging around your block at an easy pace. Or, if you own a PS2, get Dance Dance Revolution and a dance pad; believe me, thirty minutes of dancing will help.

I used to get really down on a sunday because of the thought of going back to work made me so miserable. The was I found to combat this was to (rather than sit around being a bit miserable) to do something, like go swmming or make a cake because then on a monday morning I can think back on about how much fun I had and it gets me through the week. Today I'm going to make a giant kinder egg using a balloon and some bars of chocolate. I even have a lego building set to go inside it :-) It'll be fun I reckon.
PS. Just to update you, I tried to make the kinder egg by covering a balloon in melted chocolate and waiting for it to set, however the chocolate was obviously too hot because the balloon exploded covering me, my kitchen and my cat in melted milky bars.

Buy yourself some special coffee that you keep just at work. Put up pictures of things you like at your desk. Make plans for the weekend as you drive to work on Monday morning. Buy an iPod to use as you work.
Yes, I feel like that a bit too, but sometimes work is a good break from home--for me anyway. There's a lot of stuff requiring my attention at home, so in a way work is a bit of a break. (Maybe other moms can relate here?)
Good luck.

It sounds to me that the fact that you feel like this that you feel unfulfilled in your work and you're not motivated. My only advice is to think to yourself "Do I really want to do this job for the rest of my life?" If not then think of something that you do want to do and go do it. Life's too short to spend your time doing a job that you don't really want to do although what can I say. They only person that decides what you do is you. I can give you the best possible advice I know but I can't actually force you to do anything. Good luck in what you decide to do.

You do not enjoy doing your work. That is the reason. You need recognition. You have not taken up your job as your responsibility yet. You always think of the enjoyment you get during the week ends and so you do not want it to stop.
This is what happens for many when they start their professional work. Please understand that unless you work, you cannot earn a living and so the work is what gives you chance for enjoyment during the holiday.
Learn to be more understanding and take things more lightly. Be committed to what you are doing and try to enjoy it. Try to have more interaction with people. Try to earn recognition from your colleagues and once you get the kick of it, you cannot wait for the Mondays. I mean it.

The only thing I will do is to plan for my entertainment on Monday night. If you are too tired to go out on weekdays night, plan for your next weekends.
If looking forward to your next weekend does not help, go for a jog on Sunday. Run until you are too tired to think.

Its hard when you don't like where or what your working at, maybe a change would do you the world of good. See how whats on offer, maybe even change what you do altogether, it could be a fresh start for you.

Go out and get a job you enjoy. No way you should continue at employment that makes you feel that way.
In the mean time is there anything you can do to find humor in your situation? someone at work that you can laugh at instead of being annoyed at them? Humor usually works for me. I find something to tickle my funny bone and have fun with it even if its kept to myself.
