There is a hartsease cottage, but spelt heartsease, type it in on google, there is one in Wales, Dorset, there are a few websites with the name, also a pagan site, but as i thought there is no cottage on Dartmoor in any legend with that name, but as you said it is only seen on 'odd occasions'... I am up on Dartmoor alot as i live very close and i am sorry, but think somone is messing with you..

Personally, I believe its only a business gimmic! UK is full of this type of publicity! Its part of business plot!
