A werewolf (also lycanthrope or wolfman) in folklore is a person who shapeshifts into a wolf or wolflike creature, either purposely, by using magic, or after being placed under a curse. They are said to be immortal.
The name most likely derives from Old English wer (or were) and wulf. The first part, wer, translates as "man" (in the sense of male human, not the race of humanity).
The story of Lycaon in Greek Mythology provides one of the earliest examples of a werewolf legend. According to one version, Lycaon was transformed into a wolf as a result of eating human flesh; one of those who were present at periodical sacrifice on Mount Lycaon was said to suffer a similar fate.
As for your question, who knows if they exist, well i do so yeah.

Of course werewolves exist. They are created in the following way:-
A human is bitten by a werewolf. This process is known as siring. Incidentally, vampires are created in much the same manner.
Werewolves, when in human form cannot be easily distinguished from humans. However, there are certain subtle differences...the werewolf is likely to have an unibrow and/or hair across the knuckles. Silver objects are harmful to the werewolf, whether in human or in wolf form...silver bullets are the traditional murder weapon.
I regret not being able to send any pictures at the moment. Maybe after next full moon, if I can get anyone to take a photograph of me. I tried last year, but I'm afraid I ate the boy who volunteered...didn't taste too bad.

No, real werewolves don`t exist.
But I can tell you that there are werewolf like dogs. That is very large canine being, such as the South Africa Boerboel. It is the size of a small pony. As for were the stories originally originated from about werewolves, there is this is this disorder that leads to some people growing so much hair, that looks like fur. It grows everywhere, including your face (not a bear) and even on top of your hands. I can`t give you the name, but I have seen photos of this, and people like that do exist. However, they are not werewolves, just very hairy people.

It is said that the image of the warewolf came about because some people have a inbalanced hormone that causes hair to grow all over their body instead of in isolated places. There is a family living in Mexico I beleive it is who carry this gene and some people to this day say they are warewolfs. It was the show circit that started the "full moon" where in reality the hair grows all the time.

They don't exist they are fictitious monsters as are vampires, ghosts, zombies, etc. The nearest living creature to a werewolf is my grey lurcher who has hairless butt cheeks (eeew).
