Old wives' tale, same as using the heartbeat to predict gender, supposedly 130's 140's boy, 150's plus a girl....the only two genuine ways to tell are an ultrasound performed later (they can be wrong earlier on) and the birth of the baby when you get the visual LOL

I carried low for my son, so I kinda bought into the wives tale. Then I carried low for my second, and I had a girl. I know people who stand by the myth, but I think some people tend to carry low, it depends on the individual body shape and baby size. Good luck and Congrats!

That's not true because everyone says that I'm carrying low so I'm having a boy, but I'm actually having a baby girl. So I wouldn't go based upon the way you are carrying.

I was carring low and I was sure he was a boy..and ooops he turned out to be a girl..
But that does not mean that you are not having a boy. So let us know later

It is a load of nonsense as i have never carried low with any of mine and i have had 2 girls and 3 boys, every woman's body is different and so they will all carry different. Good luck and Congrats

It is an old wives tale and doctors will tell you it is not always accurate but everybody I know that has carried low and a bouncing baby boy. Congrats!!!!!!!!!

I think carrying low means you are carrying low and has nothing to the genitalia that your infant will be born with. I carried low with my daughter and kinda high with my son. So that's that, huh?;)
