A, B and C are Comsci majors. They were given a take-home exercise to requiring them to create a program that determines if a 5 digit number is a palindrome. A was the first one to come up with a solution. B merely copied A’s work. C obtained a copy of A’s work, analyzed it and came up with a more efficient and user—friendly program than A.

Person A.

Person B & C both require other peoples input (dependant)
Person A requires only his imagination and creativity (independant).

A is a pioneer.
B is an early adopter.
C is an innovator.

Without A, B & C would have nothing to start with.

Person A and Person C, both.
Person B is being lazy.
Person A had a "felt" need and grew thoughtful and figured out a way.
Person C evaluated, saw problems or inefficiency, grew thoughtful and figured out a way.
A & C both did the same thing--evaluated and then figured something out. They should both get an A in creativity.

i would say A, because of originality, but creativity is something that cannot be treuly measured. there have been attempts, but it's all still a blur. a good way to measure creativity is to ask a person to write down everything they could do with a brick, and than count the answers and original ideas.

A, they were the original one with the solution and idea.
Even though C found a more efficient and user-friendly version, they still based it off of A's work.

i would say person A and C.
because person A is the one who came up with the idea. but person C however put the idea in a feasible way that it became more useful for others. if person A goes on with his/ her ideas without much help or support, that brilliant idea might not seem as good eventually.

Could be A or C. C's idea might be smarter than A's, but he may have been guided by A's insights.
