How do i write my work description in my resume?(is it past or present tense)

E.g.
Duration : July 2005 – "PRESENT"
Title : Clerk

duties:
"Identifies problems" or "Identified problems" ??

And do you know some company which can offer me some sponsorship?

I would stick to the present tense. A prospective client will want to know what you can do now. In relation to the past you can connect the present by the use of adjectives and adverbs, without separating it by itself.

Good question.

I looked in a resume book, everything is past tense....

Example:

New York University - Buffalo, New York 2005- Present
Graduate Assistant
* Counseled students in the preparation and revision of high quality resumes and cover letters...etc.

Write in the present tense for the job you are at now. Write in the past tense for any jobs before that. Sorry, I don't have an answer for your second question.

When I write resumes for clients, I use the present tense for their current job, and past tense for previous jobs. Hope this helps.

if you are currently employed and are speaking about your present job....then it would be present tense...
such as..i currently am employed by________.
indentifies problems well.
