A person who was planning to rent a condo from me asked for my banking info. acct.#,and routing #,to deposit $ the 3 emails from him that I saved,with all others in the last month ,and they where there until yesterday,are gone.Can that person delete only his from my saved emails.This sounds like a scam. Help!

did you give him your password? else he might have hacked into your account

It's not likely that a person can delete an e-mail that they've already sent to you. I've certainly never encountered anything like that.
From this, I'm gathering that your particular e-mail service "cleans house" in your inbox. You should try looking to see if there's an archive folder or something of that nature. Try searching for an "All Mail" option.
For the love of all that is holy...NEVER give out any banking info by e-mail.

i would never email that kind of info. it sounds like a scam, call the bank and put a fraud check or freeze on your account. with the info you gave him, he can write checks from your account and possibly ID theft. there should be tips and help here: http://ftc.gov/bcp/menu-internet.htm

also, he can't access your inbox without your password, so change it.

he should not be able to access saved emails. I would contact your bank even though only you can make withdrawls from your account it never hurts to put them on aware.
