I was sitting in french and the teacher was thowing glue around to people, she was aiming for the person behind me and it smacked me on the head (outch) and than she went alll red and said she "felt bad", she gave me some chocolate and pos-it notes, the class made a joke of it and than we moved on. I was talking to her on msn and she said she was sorry and offered me some glue and more post-it notes (to keep). So i couldn't really ask for more, i took some glue and postit notes and some sweets, theres a big bump on my forhead and it sometimes hurt to toutch. What should i have done?

Well you could ask a solicitor/lawyer-you might have a case against her, that all depends on how far you wish to take this,or you could make a complaint to the school officials about the incident-given that a teacher really shouldn't be throwing objects at ANY students,or you can just accept her apology and put it behind you and hope she's learnt a lesson from all this?
It seems common for teachers to be hurling things at students-a teacher once threw a board rubber at my brothers head & cut it!!She didn't do it again after the roasting she got from our Mum!!

I am with those who agree it was an accident, and in reality, no permanent harm done. The main thing to consider is that others knew the glue was being thrown about, it is not like the teacher suddenly decided to give you a glue wallopping.
I would accept her apology and let it go. After all, she is only human, and there is no real need to cause trouble for an otherwise nice person.

Now everyone is "questionable" these days. Sheesh.
It was an accident, so just let it go. She's probably just nervous that your parents are going to sue her, so she's trying to make good on it.
Can't say I blame her. These days, if a teacher just looks at a student wrong the parents get all uptight and go on strike.
And we wonder why our education system is in the gutter.

It probably really was an accident, if nothing like this has every happened before. I'm sure your teacher won't throw things anymore (although it isn't exactly abnormal. A lot of my teachers did that).
But why are you talking with your teacher on MSN? That's a little creepy, mate.
