Real magic does the reverse...it grows.
Except in the case of David Blaine.

It depends on the company you keep really. If it's black magic, they'll eat the lot in minutes. If it's white magic it lasts forever. Just look at the Wizard Of Oz. It's been around for years and never loses it's power to ruin christmas ;)
