I believe soul is what lies within the greatest depths of a person; like a door into their mind. Soul is the essence of a person, and it never changes thoughout life. All the truths about somone can be found within their soul, their emotions, thoughts, ideas, desires, everything is contained within the soul but is expressed though the body and mind. Although it is not a physical thing, it still exists somehow and is one of the greatest mysteries.

Soul is a collection of thoughts, feelings and memories that are the sum of a life.

These thoughts, feelings and memories are connected to a nonphysical spirit or aspect of the first cause Or God if you find that name more appropriate.

This soul is what creates the illusion of life in the body, when it leaves the body the body appears as it always was, lifeless.

Dust assembled in a certain way to appear to be something that it never was, slowly transitioning back to the dust that it always has been.

Love and blessings Don

Your soul is you, the real you, the being inside, your mind, your thoughts & feelings, who you are. It is immortal. When your physical body dies, your soul lives forever. It is intangible. You can not see it. But apparently it has a weight...it's a scientific fact that there is a difference between the weight of a body once it dies. The weight is 22 grams. When the spirit leaves, the body is 22 grams lighter. (They even made a movie called "22 grams" based on this idea.) Very interesting proof of the soul!

the spirit that animates all things
the nonmaterial source of all energy and matter
some people believe only in what they can percieve
either with their senses or measuring devices
this is sad and foolish
the soul is you my friend
you cannot grasp it like a thing or a thought
you can sense it when you stare into someones eyes
or into a mirror
try it and tell me
are the eyes windows to the soul
or are they mirrors of it?

Soul is our spirit of what makes us who we are. Deep seated feelings of an unspoken plight that only God knows.

It is the energy that gives you life, that makes you who you are. But it is the same energy which is trapped in your body until the day you die. It grows with you and the more knowledge and experiences you have, the more it grows until it has matured enough to represent you in the spiritual world.
