I have seen websites where girls are vowing to do anything to be skinny, even if it KILLS them. That is sick! Why are men encouraging this? I thought that a curvy figure was more desirable? I am thin but it's natural and I accept and love myself.

I have been asking the same question for a while. I personally like the little bit of Pooch on the stomach of a girl. It means they are healthy. If you are naturally that skinny, than props. But most are created that way. I think that Society, and in this case supermodels are way to influential. And it is ruining a lot of lives of young women. It is starting to be noticeable in young men who want to look like a Calvin Cline model. If you think you are too thin and are over the age of 16, are 4'10" to 5'8" and 90lbs or less and still think you are too fat. You have a real problem. You probably have some Insecurity issues as well as an Eating disorder of some kind and need to seek serious help. I personally can only sympathize. But you can Google Anorexia(Anorexic) and Bulemia(Bulemic) and seek some help.If you feel you have a friend who has this problem, Help Her/Him. You are doing them a favor, whether they think so or not. If your a parent, You owe it to your Son and/or Daughter to help them. It is a disease. Sit down and talk to them. You might be surprised out how receptive some of your kids are. And to those who are outside looking in, who don't see this as a problem, Shame on you.

I think skinny is a turn off. I like a healthy look, especially in men. no skinny, sorry no ofence to anyone I just like big strong men!

ur rite, ive seen those typa websites too where fat ppl post pics of skinny girls and talk about wat they ate and how much they lost and blah blah blah. i dunno but the idiot that started it has kinda caught my brain up too. but only kinda.. ;)
