They have destroyed the covering so that the foam inside is exposed. What can I do to stop the squirrels from destroying the new pad I now must buy?

Get some Hand Sanitizer and rub some on the areas they gnaw on...or simply rubbing alcohol..work like a charm

Well . . . if the pad is removable, REMOVE IT, when you're not using the trampoline. If, however, they're gnawing at it, while your using the thing, it's probably best to stay indoors and not mess with those squirrels.

a 410 shotgun comes to mind......squirrel stew is very tasty....make it the same way basically as Beef stew

the only thing that comes to mind is a pellet gun
