Jess from The Veronicas had to delete her personal Myspace page twice because people would not leave her alone and each time someone snatched up her old URL and posed as her. She was even hacked a few times. Don't you think that is mean? These celebrities give and give and in return they have their privacy invaded. If you were in Jess' position, what would you do? How important is privacy to you?

They are in a business where they need attention to promote things, as soon as they take a big check for something and become a celebrity they will loose their privacy--thats a part of the business.

If a celebrity wants to be left alone, they should quit what they do and give all of their money away, get an everyday job in a factory, then no one will care about them.

It would bother me if I was in her position.
I'd report anyone posing as me if I were her.
Privacy is really important, every person has a right to personal space and it's really rude/cruel when people invade that space. People taking your identity is a problem celebrities have to face, and it's a shame because I don't know why anyone would want to be a celebrity. Unless they were cool like Bob Parker or something.

Privacy is a very important issue and I don't believe celebrities should be treated as they are. They are human like the rest of us and have feelings. Being a celebrity does put them in the public eye, but I think it should be by their consent only and not be constantly invaded by people just trying to make some money for themselves. I have very sorry to hear of Jess's experience and my heart goes out to her.

Very important. It is very unfortunate, but still a fact of life that there is little you can do to isolate yourself from the preying eyes from the public, the government, the press, etc. It is hard on everyone, but celebreties and public figures are more annoyingly in focus.

Extremely important to me. These celebrities know when they work at becoming famous, they lose their privacy. They knew what they were getting into. I don't feel sorry for any of them.
