I hate shopping!! Are there any other girls out there like me? We need to unite (and talk about ANYTHING other than shopping and decorating samples...... ugh!)

I detest shopping, no matter what it is for, except perhaps a new car. Now there you have me....lol
I have gone to malls looking to buy some clothes and walk out after 5 minutes. I get fed up trying on clothes, hate it, hate it hate it.....
I greatly dislike all those purdy home decorations with cute teddy bears and flowers and arts and crafts stuff.....please god keep me from friends who love that. You invariable get something given to you and then what do you do....lol
Now my granddaughter, she has the gene. I swear that girl has nothing on her brain except shopping.

OH GOD NO, MNG, you are not the only one. Thank god, I thought I was. I detest shopping. I would do anything, rather than shop. I usually go to 'town' once a month and I have a list of things to do. Shopping is the furthest down and only by necessity. Samples and swatches are not my thing. I am not into home decor, I prefer function and practicality rather than making sure every little thing matches. I don't like 'dust collectors' either. I am not opposed to a flea market from time to time, but if they are cluttered, count me out. The worst part about this lifestyle choice is that my younger sister has got it into her head that Mimi's house needs to be decorated, AAARRRRGGGGHHH! (She has given me so many 'things' that match my kitchen chairs that match my blinds that match my...you know how it goes)

No your not, I hate shopping. My husband is the envy of all the guys he works with, cause they complain about how much their wives spend every month on clothes etc. My husband then says my wife only shops when necessary. They all want me to spend time with their wives. LOL!

No, I'm so glad it's not just me. Once upon a time I did like it, but then I grew up and realized how much true waste is out there. The thing that scares me is when (I have to) go to the mall, and I see all the teenybopper clones twittering together.

I don't have it either! I mean...I like to shop when I have money for new clothes, but for me it's get in, try it on, and get out...and what in the world are decorating samples???

well, im not a fan of shopping, i hate it when im dragged to westfield shops or garden city or some hug shopping centre. i like to shop once a month or maybe two. and i hate shopping for unnecessary clothes..
