i tried to uninstall it from add remove control panel,it says ''The uninstallation completed successfully but ur own task files and log files were not deleted.AND
The removal of some files have been deffered to next restart.I restarted PC several times but the antivirus is still there in control pannel and start menu...I want to gret rid of Norman antivirus and want to install McAfee antivirus.Please help

first of all u have to delete all registry entries that belong to this software
all shortcuts u manually made
if that doesnt work go to the market
get a registry cleaner software like System Machenic, Tuneup Utilities any version
they both have file shereder first clean entire registry using them and then delete all files that contain the word in their name "norman" "NAV" etc
Hope that it will work for u if not done contat me again and give the full information of ur system i.e Windows installed, Other Softwares, etc

Go to Nortons website and use the removel tool. This would be the correct way of uninstaling it.

i haven't heard anything like Norman.
if you mean Norton you better install it once and then uninstall it again. this will prevent problems like Recycle Bin losing
