i believe only major events, like marriage and when you die are controlled by fate. God gave us brains so we can make our own decisions, and do what we want to do with our lives.
i put up a question a while ago about fate, it'll let you know mine (and other people's) perspectives about fate. i usually don't put links up, but i think you'll find this useful.
hope this helps and good luck!

Yes, you cant fight fate no matter how hard you try because that would probably mess up the whole system and god knows what would happen. but even though i know this i still try to fight it or is that my fate, to fight it? and the others that don't believe in fate, is that their fate, too not accept it?
Well thats what i think.

I believe in fate. I also believe that fate will put obstacles etc in our way because we need to learn certain lessons in life. No matter what our choices in life are -we will be faced with whatever will help us learn the lessons we need to learn. This is not neccessarily negative things either, but I do believe negative behaviors or choices beget negative feedback.
Just always try your best to make the best choices you are capable of making and your life will be what it was meant to be.

I accept "Fate", that it exists. And I accept that we have no control of it. I accept that "Fate" can bring both good and bad. I accept that "Fate" can happen at any time. "Fate" has visited me in my life several times bringing with it good and bad times, I am still her surviving with the effects. I love and hate "Fate", both at the same time.

do you think you should? if there is something you can do about it (as long as its legal) why not change it? why should we keep living a life that we dont want just because there is no other alternative? guess what your wrong! there are lots of options..people who says "it fate, i cant change it" are just lazy to find a different alternative or just to scared to even dare. you choose your fate.. and no one should tell you otherwise.

Yes, I do since it is the way of life we need to accept. I think everyone has his/her own fate and it needs solving in his/her context.

Sometimes, I do, sometimes I don't. I had a sad experience as a kid. But, I excel in academic. I am a bit mixed-up about accepting my fate.

I never accept my fate.......even if it seems like I'm gonna have to be resigned to something...I fight back if it's something I don't want.

I refuse to believe that I am a puppet in constraint's victim to every action and reaction in life. Life is not life without the freedom and responsibility in living.
