I think it was in 2000 or 2001 Essendon vs Kangaroos at the MCG the Bombers were down 52 points but came back and won the game. I was there and its the best game ive ever seen. GO BOMBERS!!!

On TV - 2005 AFL Grand Final when Swans held on by one point,
At the ground - 1996 Preliminary Final when Plugger kicked a point after the siren to win by a point and the Swans played in the Grand Final,
& the finish to the 2005 Semi-Final when Nick Davis came to save us!
Also 1996 Qualifying Final when Cressa took a mark in the goal square to beat Hawthorn by 6 points but I've been following the Swans for 15 years, there's been too many great finishes & some which we've ended up on the wrong side of!

I was at the Carlton v Collingwood 1970 Grand Final a great game . The 1989 Granny Haw v Geelong was a classic but the best game was the second semi final 1984. Haw v Essendon . The best game of football I ever saw . Blokes like Matthews Eade Wallace v Daniher Watson Vanderharr .

The only footy game I ever went to... (I´m from and live in Argentina, and I haven´t been to Australia since 1994, that´s a good reason I suppose)
It was Sydney vs. St Kilda at the SCG. I remember Tony Locket crushing Sydney´s fullback´s nose with his elbow in a play in which he had totally forgotten about the ball and was going straight for the other guy's nose!
They almost had to take Sydney´s fullback out of the field in an ambulance. And then he spent some serious time at the hospital. Tony Locket got suspended for about ten games after that.
OK, I know, not a very good game (actually, it was a lousy one), but considering my situation and the fact that I live half way across the world from Australia, I think it is enough with just having a footy game to remember, right?

I think the highlight for me would be some of the best comebacks ever- it is amazing the way one player can lift a team to a turnaround victory.
I have seen michael voss do it and for me this was the most memorable that match was two years ago when he booted 3 goals in the last quarter- the best of all coming from outside the 50 to get them withing 9 points....

2002 telstra Dome, Richmond v Geelong, it was one of those games where the lead changed about 20 times, especially in the last quarter. Scores were tied in the last 5 mins, people were screaming, kids were crying the place was going off.....Paul Chapman kicked a soccer goal in the last 10 seconds to win it for the cats. I`m a tigers fan but that was an awesome experience.
Best game I`ve seen on telly was 89 GF Hawks v Cats.

I loved the 1980 Grand Final demonstrating the pure skills of Richmond in their victory over Collingwood. The other was the skills of Essendon in 1993 to demolish Carlton.

The 1997 pre-lim final (Adelaide vs Western Bulldogs). Adelaide were getting killed by half time. seeing Tony Libba's face reaction, just turned me off with his excitement. The whole Western Bulldogs team had thought they had it in the bag, but Adelaide Came back and won the the game. They went on to win their first Premiership as well.Great game, its better than the Grand Final.
