Meh. it's alright. not highly hilarious but the best line has got to be 'frigging idiot!' haha that bit did make me laugh. perhaps the only bit in the whole film. OH! and also at the beginning when he's on the bus! It's just funny because it's different and random.

A very refreshing change at a time when comedy was becoming very repetitive in it's banal silliness.
It is a very quirky, odd film, that doesn't try to be anything else. But doesn't try too hard to be quirky either. Lots of good lines, but not the most obviously quotable film (see 'Withnail & I' or "This is Spinal Tap"). The characters are all moderately deranged and flawed and capable of ridiculous comments.
The dance to Jamiroquai is priceless.
Just watch it. Don't get your hopes up, but don't take it seriously either.

Yes it is very funny. It exposes people that pretend to be something that they are not. If humor is done well it will open your eyes to things that are ridiculous, and deserve to be ridiculed. Or it takes risks at the joke teller's expense to shock you or surprise you. Making such an amateurish looking movie in itself takes a risk, and it makes you appreciate well crafted or well executed humor even more.
Or, for some people, it's just not going to make them laugh, no matter how much someone like me tries to enlighten them.

Yeah, I think nearly everyone agrees the dance scene was the best. I've watched it 23809 times and I still laugh so hard. I liked the part Napoleon slapped Kip though. That was hilarious.

Hilarious. I wouldn't say it's pointless. The plot to me is the campaign. The characteurs are what make it so good.
I particularly like the scene where Rico throws the steak at Napolean. Lines: "...and she still hasn't sent me a full body shot" or "I caught you a delicious bass".

Last week, Japanese scientists explaced... placed explosive detonators at the bottom of Lake Loch Ness to blow Nessie out of the water. Sir Godfrey of the Nessie Alliance summoned the help of Scotland's local wizards to cast a protective spell over the lake and its local residents and all those who seek for the peaceful existence of our underwater ally.

I saw it over the summer,I didn't think it was that great to be honest! There was all this hype about it but I didn't find it that funny! It was enjoyable but unremarkable I'd say.

"Don't be jealous because I've been chatting with hot babes all day"...or something like that
Yes, it's funny (and stupid). It was so different from anything you've seen on screen. And unfortunately we've all known people like Napolean, Uncle Rico, and that snob Summer.
