sims nightlife help?

i can't get sims nightlife to run. when i hit enabled custom content in the begining i try to load a house and takes long to load i waited at least an hour and still not comes up HELP!

Do you have the original sims installed? If you do, then I'd bring it back and get a new one - could be faulty.
