I have a doll I am trying to identify. I think it is from a range of toys popular in the 80's. It is a boy doll with blue wool hair. It is plastic and is around 6 inches tall it has red painted shoes on its feet and its nose is painted red. it is dressed in blue trousers and a white frilly shirt. I believe it may be a bridegroom doll and had a bride with pink hair at one time. Can anyone tell me what type of toy this is and are there collector any websites about it. I want to find out what it is called before I put it on ebay.

not something is stressful with regard to creating dolls with diverse colored hair/epidermis/eyes. advertising has purely desperate that the blond hair/blue eyed dolls sell nicely. i think of they did sell nicely interior the 1950's - 1960's, so now instead of attempting out the waters with assorted forms of dolls the toy agencies say "we placed out one ethnic doll a twelve months and it purely sells 5% in comparison with the 80% of the blond doll, so enable's not waste our money."

The description of the hair reminds me of those Troll dolls, but I'm not sure if that's what you have.
