I find that not many people care too much about others' birthdays. I get cards but very rarely does someone offer to come and celebrate it with me. However, I'd gladly come and have a party with you if I could but unless you're in La Jolla, CA I can't see it happening. Happy Birthday!!!

I guess it depends on your age, but yes someone should try and make you feel special. Don't fret though your friends may be planning something you don't know about. That's what friends do. Anyways you could always ask one of your friends if they want to hang out and celebrate with you. Happy Birthday girlfriend. If nobody responds don't get down just do something for yourself that makes you feel good. Shopping, a new hair do, manacure, what ever. You deserve it. Good Luck and hope it all goes well for you.

Dont Be sad you may have other b-days like that and if matters that much take someone out for your birthday or invite some freinds over. Tell them your celebrating your birthday and you dont want to be alone what it means to have them their with you means something to you and you want to remember that day with them. sometimes we worry about the smallest things. Well, happy birthday, dear wishingforpeace.

It's sad, I know...
In my case, no one even mentions my birthday on some years. And some have completely forgotten it until a week or two has gone by. Ah, but I just get used to it.

I know how you feel.....my best friend never remembers mine. He always thinks it a day later than it is. So....if he can remember the wrong day....why can't he remember the right day? It's only a day sooner.
Also, my birthday is very close to Christmas....20th Dec....so everybody is busy anyway and they have the attitude that...oh well....we're sending a Christmas card....she'll know we mean it as a birthday card too......

I hope you manage to have a nice day xxx. Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday! I know how you feel. My birthday is Friday and I like to be remembered too. A birthday is a celebration of one's existence. I like to feel special and appreciated and I know I always make a big deal for my friends and family when it comes to their birthdays.

My birthday is January 1.

I never get to really celebrate it.

The same is true of many other people who have birthdays at inconvenient times of year.
