Does the future have a future?

The future is an odd concept. Right now, I am living in the present, but what is the present now was the future just a few moments ago. And what used to be the present and future is now the past. In a way, there really is no present, only the future and past, although that's hard to explain. Bascially, the future is everything ahead of us, everything that hasn't happened yet; the unknown, and the past is everything that has already happened.
We try to imagine what life will be like 50 years from now, but it really is impossible to know what the future holds. So it's best not to worry about things that we can't control. Focus on the present (if there is one, and if there isn't, the very near future, i.e the next couple of days/weeks).

Does the past have a past? No, the past is the past. The future is the future. The future is not an entity that experiences time. We experience time. Future is the name we give to the amount of time that is coming up.

I guess so. Only the FUTURE is in its present tense. The future's future is conceivable.

We have plotted thousands of years of the past so all reasoning assumes we will have a future.

You yourself have demonstrated this belief because in placing a question would be to assume you will read the answer sometime in the future.
