i have a quarter that the print mist both side of the coin,its blank on both sides you can tell its a quarter because you can see the silver and copper on the egde of it and i took it to a bank and the said yes it is a quarter some man ask to buy right then and there for 50$ is worth more on auction or to a dealer are is worth anything at all. e-mail back at kirkpatrict@bellsouth.net are markocankirk@yahoo.com

It is quite possible you have a blank quarter planchet. Asking someone about it at the bank, may or may not give you the right answer. They do not mint the coins and have little, if any knowledge of the minting process. Take it to a couple of coin dealers to see what they say. A type 1 blank has no rims and a type 2 does. The type 2 is the most common.
