but some other seem to be there because of boredome...
why all of you do not close the comuter now and go out in order to live your life and have fun??????

There is a sense a beauty in the exchange of ideas and opinions--via cyber-space.
One forgoes the emotional investment when asking a family member or close friend for the forum.
Boredom, I think not. This is as much as going out! Have you really read these questions and answers?

Because I have computer obsession disorder. I NEED the internet! Plus my parents don't let me online too long, so when I get the chance to spend a couple of hours online I take the opportunity! No questions asked!
And as for Yahoo! Answers, I like feeling like I help people with my knowledge, so there you go!

I am not here out of boredom! I truly do enjoy answering questions! This is not a way to just pass the time for me. I like what I do here.

As for myself, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences with others. I don't want to have the things I have went through in life to have been in vain...so I share. Also, I learn from others too. I don't feel as though I am wasting my time. I still take care of my family and home. Hopefully you'll learn from my answer.

its 11:34 at night here, I'm not gonna go out an live my life, because its late. It just so happens that the weekends are the only time i can do w/e the hell i want and i intend to do so.
My question to you is, why aren't you out living your life? why are you here asking others about their lives...

because I enjoy learning new things and hearing other people's take on various situations... It's about the positive and what we can gain, not about boredom to me at all.

actually, this is one way of relaxation & at the same time...there are also questions that are very interesting...at the same you can get a lot of valuable information from others who answered it seriously & with sense...so i dont think i'm wasting my life and time ;> have a nice day.
