Having my daughter spend the day with her grandpa so my hubby and I can spend the day in bed.

LOL, the first answer became marvelous and likely may be suitable, besides the undeniable fact that the terminology left a touch to be wanted. what's humorous is that i concept-about posting an same question myself, as I had a desirable Saturday evening, floating on a deliver in a lake with my dogs at my feet and my husband baiting the fishing poles, as I lazily listened to Garrison Keillor and Prairie living house spouse on the radio. it truly is my theory of perfection. Now i will spend my Sunday afternoon with you effective individuals. Ain't existence grand?

A perfect Sunday afternoon for me would be one spent in bed provided that it's cold outside curled up under the covers with my loved one and watching sappy love movies like Serendipity and eating ice-cream and pop-corn for dinner.
If it's hot outside then I'd want to spend the afternoon at the movies with a loved one and have the theater to ourselves

A sleep in till midday - lunch in bed - daughter at my parents for the day - have a long relaxing bath - read a good book (heck, at the same time as the bath!) - sit back and just relax till dinner is made for me.....then go to bed rested and not stressing about Monday.
Who am I am kidding though! Thats a dream and the truth is - I am up at 6am, looking after everyone else and constantly thinking about work on Monday! LoL

Stay in bed with coffee reading the paper 'til noon (pref. with a friend), head out to a yummy breakfast and hit the outdoor flea market in the afternoon, play with the dogs, then home for a light dinner and a movie.

Drag Racing my Chevy Nova at the dragstrip. After I get home start cooking something on the grill. Then playing my guitar or my mandolin on the yard swing and having a beer. Oh yeah and before I go to bed getting a back-rub from my girlfriend.

when it is warm enough to sit outside and watch the late afternoon come in and ease into early evening. The quiet and calm of the day giving into the night.

Either a cool day outside and the great tunes on my radio while I do some woodwork, or 15 mph winds on a beach that is sunny and almost empty so I can fly my big stunt kites.

Spending time with my daughter, visiting family, having a roast dinner and then relaxing afterwards with a glass of red wine. Then later taking the dog out to the woods.

a bit of a potter around in the garden -- then a couple of coldies ; deserved after a bit of gardening --- then i guess I'll chuck a shrimp on the barbie washed down with more coldies ( cooking over a hot stove can be so exhausting ; ahem ) --- then I'll sit back and reflect on how good life is in the tropics where everyday is a summer --- and a very -- good day --- now you have a good one too eh!? --- wherever you are --- see yah !
