Who said they were poor, just because a person lives in a house trailer, drives an 81 Ford pickup, with a gun in the rear window, has three teeth, two on the bottom and one on the top, that mash perfectly, doesn't make them poor.

Oh you know the answer already. the Republicans just saw an opportunity to get votes from poor people by pulling the religion card/ with nearly a third of people evangelicals, it was a natural. of course it was only to further their own real agendas

I love it when the republicans say they are for the working class, but if you go to any wealthy neighborhood it's usually mostly republican.
If the republicans were really for the middle class why the h#ll are so many rich people voting for them?
