I already bought the Sims 2 and all, but I don't know how to install it, when I did before I can't open it. What should I do?

Ths Sims 2 is not anything to do with the original Sims 1 game!!
Make sure the failed instalation has been deleted off your PC before you try to load it up again. Make sure your PC is offline before you start as you have to switch off your Anti-Virus software to install the game as it can interfere with it. Also make sure you have typed in the correct code for the game (should be either on the back of the box or on the back of the manual inside).
If you try all this and it still doesn't work check on the Maxis webbie for some more help.

follow the instructions and things should work ok...now one thing, the sims 2 if i remember correctly, is an expansion pack for the original sims game....you might double check and see if it is. if so, youll have to go get the orig sims game, install it, then install sims 2
