John was hated so much, that no other British king has ever been given his name. Do some research.

John is one of those kings who's been generally villified by history and it's hard to know if it was fair or unfair. He's generally credited with losing much of England's territories in Continental Europe (France), but is also among the first of the Kings since the Conquest by William the Bastard in 1066 to actually take a larger interest in the welfare of England. But it's contraversial how much good he actually did for England's welfare. Read up on the Magna Carta. It's probably the most lasting product of his reign.

If this is a term type question then i would begin by reviewing the magna carta, which is, apart from the Domesday book, probably the most important pieces of political literature in English history. This should hopefully provide you with more than three answers

I dont really know if king John was bad or good except he could'nt sign his name. Apart from that he came to our shore 'FOLKESTONE' with his army to ward off the french invaders.
