How many dominant genes do you know you carry. I have dark hair, hickhicker thumb, widow's peak, and.......I'll keep thinking

A widow's peak is the litte point of hair that some perople have on their forehead, instead of a straight forehead.

I have a not-very-pronounced widow's peak and so did my Mum, so I assume I got it from her. My husband has a more pronounced one but I don't think there's been anyone else in his family with one.
Isn't heredity a funny thing? As I get older I can see all sorts of things in me that I can relate to from my Mum and Dad, mannerisms, behaviour in general, attitudes. But I suppose that's nurture rather than nature...
There's supposed to be genetic link with many illnesses - e.g. breast cancer, which I have had but which no one else in my family has. However, we do have a clear history of heart disease so I'm pretty careful on that count!
And I also hope, most deeply and sincerely, that I haven't inherited my maternal grandmother's genes with respect to hair - a year before she died, at the age of sixty-five, her hair loss was so bad she had to wear a wig, poor love.

i have a widows peak..i got it from my dad...my 4 kids also have a widows peak.

no widow's peak but I wouldn't mind trying to get a widow to PEAK! :-)
