Foggy Mountain Breakdown, Orange Blossom Special, Dueling Banjo's, Man of Constant Sorrow. Start listening to some old school Bluegrass Music and I think you'll find out what you are looking for. I play guitar and Mandolin for years and have found out that Bluegrass music is actually pretty challenging to play alot of it is anyway and more advanced than most Rock or Metal even.
