i have to interview a young woman in a series of questions which enable me to get an idea of her identity! any ideas for questions?

This is difficult to do but you have to find her interests. What she really enjoys. Is she close with family? Does she really like living in this area? The more questions you ask, the better feel for her identity you will get. It's not really a matter of what as to asking a ton of question like these and pulling them all together. It's kind of like doing a background check.

If you want to get more of an idea about the kind of person she is then ask questions about age, where she lives and has lived, education, family, work, relationship history plus friendships, travel, hobbies, health, poitical and religious views. Personal trauma also shapes identity, but obviously can be sensitive to talk about.
