Sounds strange but pretend to be happy. Before long, you won't be pretending any more. That works most of the time for me. You could go read some really cool, inspirational thoughts on various web sites - try happyplace.net. Think about this; If we didn't have sadness, we wouldn't know what happiness was. Everything is a learning experience - good and bad. What goes up must come down, etc... x o

Who would be qualified to give you a credible answer.... obviously one who has attained happiness irrespective of favourable or adverse events. Are we likely to have a contributor of that eminence over here at YA.... unlikely in my view.
Therefore the next best option is just to compare notes. So far as I am concerned, I look at it as an endeavour to minimize unhappiness. Whenever an event or situation upsets my peace of mind, I turn to prayer.... I keep praying within my mind and after a while, the intensity of disturbance does reduce considerably.... when I reach this position, I start looking at the issue in a futuristic approach... ok, this has happened, now what should I do in the future in this situation.... and believe me, once I put my mind squarely on future action, the unhappiness seems to dissolve considerably. I would just like to clarify that what I mean by praying is not asking or calling God to help me out... it is just remembering God reciting repeatedly and reminding myself how small I am after all.
All I can say is you may try this.... it seems to be working for me... it may work for you as well.

Do not lie...most of all to yourself. All problems stem from this. Now to define LIE. Even an action can be a lie. Like not helping someone. Throwing trash out the car window. All these little things will add up causing a general feeling of worthlessness. Simple as this.

Do whatever you want, enjoy the people around you, enjoy the things you have, enjoy you job, do things for yourself, dance naked, sing loud, scream, run, sweat, laugh, jump, do all that things that u wouldnt be able to do in some years when u get old. Love Love Love ♥
