Well you get what you pay for as far as music equip/insturments go. The best are anything made by Marshall, Fender, Mesa Boogie, Hughes and Kettner. Peavy has some decent cheaper amps. Check out Musician's Friend on thier website if you want the best prices around that's where I get most of my gear from. Or you can risk getting a pawn shop special.

do not contact something behringer. there became a Line 6 Spider in my studio that no man or woman used so I gave it to my little bro. He performs the crap outta that issue so for a newbie you are able to attempt that in case you want a gaggle of outfitted in consequences. in my opinion, i'm prepared on the Roland dice. That has the perfect tone of any practice amp that you'll no longer manage to distinguish now because you're a newbie yet you'll realize it contained in the destiny. i could get that it has a good sound and a marvelous overdrive. it particularly relies upon, obviously, on your funds. The dice is reliable for amy newbie and quite-priced. both that or the spider could be reliable. reliable luck. -A

Look into fenders, rolands, and line 6. They have some alright 15w amps. Those are light cuz theres only one speaker and well yeah not much going on in there.

Roland used to make these amps called Taxis. They were light and could be run off of batteries as well as AC. I had one for around the house and it didn't sound too bad.
