Yesterday i sneezed at my desk and my neck gave an almighty click and hurt on one side whenever i moved that way. Today i was leaning towards the computer and my neck gave a loud click again and for one horrible moment i just imagine me breaking my own neck and slamming my face down on the keyboard while my colleagues typed on! It felt like someone was pulling my neck and it was about to come off and half my face and neck felt tingly afterwards...
What the heck is this? I am not being a drama queen but i want to know if it's worth going to the Doctors as it feels better now but i don't want it to happen again.

Chiropractors "Click" "Crack" the neck when they give an "adjustment." Sometimes the way they do it you'd think it'd be harmful but usually the neck feels much better afterward.

I think it's like cracking a knuckle.

I think the answer to your question concerning seeing the doctor has to do with whether you felt a severe stinging pain when you heard the "Click" that second time. If you did, I'd see the doctor. If there was no pain it probably was a harmless crack. (While you describe an image you had, it does not state that you had serious pain that second time.)

The first time, when you sneezed, it is possible that the "click" and the pain were unrelated. The second time if there were pain, it is far more probably that the pain was related to the click.

If its tingling then probably its more on impingement of the nerves around your neck. Try to avoid the movements that causes the clicking or cracking sound. if it will r occur again , better see a doctor to look at it.

If it keeps recurring, I'd say go to the doctor's. It may be just a one-time muscle pull if it's never happened before.
Either way, I hope it's a temporary, minor thing.
