some games will adjust the resolution and then the poorly written code doesn't reset it on exit.
just right click the desktop to get display properties...then go to settings and use the slider to readjust the screen resolution. Take a peek at the color as well and put it back on 32bit if you need to.

If rebooting does not work, right click on your desktop and goto properties, select the settings tab and adjust the screen area slide to the right, try the 1024X768 setting, click apply and see if you like that size, if not you can always readjust it the same way.

You need to change the screen resolution - Right click the desktop - properties - settings
change the resolution by moving the slider bar.
That should solve the problem for you.

Your screen resolution has changed probably to 640X480
Right click on your desktop, select properties-settings and set the slider to a new higher resolution

try running a restore on your computer. it will let you set everything back to an earlier time when it was the way you wanted it.
