Oh yessssssss.... I read about a page a minute most books. Love sci-fi for the possible futures. You know we put a man on the moon, right? Even fiction can go somewhere. I've walked more miles in other peoples shoes than my own. (great empathy skills!) Tested college level on reading when entering 5th grade. Good spelling, grammar, punctuation skills will serve you well. (ha ha, when trying to type that last sentence I hit backspace about 15 times!)
I also like reading factual material. The internet is so awesome - to be able to find out almost anything you want to know right away!
And let's not forget the inspirational: I recommend the Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield - and go on from there.

No, not addicted. I thoroughly enjoy researching information and learning new things from non-fiction books though and keep a stack of books next to my easy chair all the time. I visit the library on a regular basis and check out the new book shelf every time and buy books at the local Friends of the Library book sale whenever they have it. So, not addicted but a learner is what I am.

I was addicted for a long time to reading something about no wanting to accept reality for what it was and wanting to escape into some thing else.
And I like to know things so I read a lot of different books and now i surf the web a lot looking for new and interesting things which I tend to over read about

Not really but sometimes I read too often when I should just stop. I read the fine print on a sign outside a restaurant at a resort recently and it said "No Thongs" (as in the shoe). So my boyfriend and I (we had thongs on) did not go in there a had the WORST dinner at a dingy little cafe down town, It was terrible. Then we found out the next day that people REGULARLY go into the first restaurant with thongs, and we COULD have eaten there had I not stopped to read all the FINE PRINT!

Yes, I am addicted to reading anything and everything. I started very early to read and write. I was about four when my Mom would make me read and write (copy) paragraphs from editorial columns of newspapers to improve my reading. I could read anything - volumes of 10k reports of companies, offer documents, flyers, instruction manuals, signboards, etc.
But, something that's worked in my favor is that my partner is a bigger reading enthusiast than me. We read books while cooking, eating and even while vacationing. If we are working, we read anything online. Basically we are always hungry for reading; we read re-read and read..:)

Yes. Yes, I am!
I read on average about 2-3 books a week. (and I'm talking novels not little fictlets, which I enjoy also.)
We don't allow TV in my house during the week, so reading's really all we got. LOL!
