I think I've heard just about every excuse imaginable for why you guys cheat on your women, and I just don't get it. Why not just come right out and say, "I'm a slimeball who wants to screw a bunch of women"?
Why is it necessary to make up some lame story about how your woman doesn't give you enough sex, you're having relationship problems, your woman lacks this or that...you're always placing the blame on the woman in your life for the actions that YOU take. No woman has forced you to do anything, it's YOU who wants to screw around.
It just seems unnecessary to create excuses for why you do what you do...why not just admit the truth?

Why do people act as though cheating, and being a slime ball is limited to one sex? Like there is a huge group of people that are only open to relationships with married people. And all us married folks are preyed upon by these people trying to sleep with married folks. None of us ever cheat with other married people- it's just that group that longs to break up marriages. Some PEOPLE cheat. And yes, when caught, they do come up with lame reasons for cheating. What a shock. Next, you'll tell us that people make excuses when a cop pulls them over for speeding, and that people cheat on their taxes. People make excuses when they are caught doing anything wrong.

Because women don't accept the truth when it comes to a cheating man. GENERALLY SPEAKING.. men can actually have meaningless "relations" simply because they feel the biological need - somehow I don't think if you man said that to you he'd get a rational acknowledgement. The fact is we're all animals at heart and we're constantly struggling to combat our urges, if a guy cheats there must have been a reason for it. If women just sat down and thought about what that cause could be they could get to the root of the issue and thereby make that cause null and void.
Despite me playing devils advocate here, let me say I am totally against cheating, I think if you care for someone then its the absolute least you can do to keep yourself for them.. and if you don't you should tell them so.

well according to our marriage counseler men do cheat for a reason be it lack of sex at home, sexual addiction, not fulfilling sexual needs, nagging too much, ect. and more important no communication. if you take a couple put them in therapy after one cheats you will find out that the man is hardly ever 100% at fault. maybe 99% but never 100%. just because he cheats doesnt mean he doesnt love you either, it all depends on how he cheated, length and frequency of it too. a 20 year affair for example or a couple nights with an ugly chick. plus it also depends on wether you find this out or he confesses. saying once a cheater always a cheater is not right. everyones relationship is different, and people too change, and men eventually mature and settle down.....

It has nothing to do with if they're getting it at home! Some people are very short sighted.
It's the excitement, I think, that is the drug. The thrill and the skullduggery, will "she" find out or can I get away with it another day. Boredom with their own lives, a yearning to be young, good looking and available. Immaturity.
Only, it isn't only men. I've heard women say the same thing, too.

Men cheat for sex.
Women cheat for attention.
If those are being taken care of there is not much issue.
As for blame, there is always plenty to go around.

Because that's the way men are wired. They need some strange action every once in a while. Doesn't mean they don't love you. It only means that the little head wanted to be parked in a different cave for the night.
And Ladies, don't be hypocrites now. Most of you are waaaay sneakier than guys, so you all cheat at every opportunity that you get and then keep it a secret that you take to the grave. I'd say that's pretty low.

when i was young and dumb, i only dated married men and you're right, it was always the woman's fault.
i think guys know that they have great woman in their lives but like the challenge of the "hunt" and the thrill of the "chase". they want to have sex with different women and see if they can get away with it.
why would a man stop? he's not getting caught, he's getting to have sex with, God knows who, and he feels like a stud.
some guys are chicken shits and can't tell a woman that he's no longer interested....
it's all very twisted...i'd much rather know that someone wasn't attracted to me anymore than to find out he's cheating...

Heather, hold on to your hat, I don't cheat!!! I don't play those childess games. I realize that anothers heart is not a play thing. Find yourself a REAL MAN, and stop dealing with these ham and eggers that give young ladies like you these impressions about us. True, many men cheat, but not me! Besides, if i want to play games, I'll play with my cat. Did I tell you my cat has an attitude? Go figure, huh?
